She received a BS in Physical Therapy from Fresno State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She worked in multiple settings in San Francisco and Sacramento prior to founding Mother Lode PT in 1996 and then Fitzpatrick Physical Therapy in 2002. Her broad experience and commitment to continuing education led to board-certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (2010) and a Neurologic Clinical Specialist (2011). She is also certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation through APTA/ Emory University (2011). She is passionate about providing high-quality physical therapy in the rural settings of the Placerville and Jackson regions. She believes in the value of PT and has expanded outreach through programs such as Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s, and Fitzpatrick PT’s year-long mentorship for young therapists.
